Turn the page without leaving anything to chance. After her separation, Margaux wanted a place to live of her own, without compromising on her well-being or that of her two children. She was looking for a cocoon, close to Paris with a large exterior: a bubble of air where to share breakfasts in the sun and receive loved ones. Welcome to her house.

The meeting with Maison Kyka

Margaux had little time to devote to her research, but a clear vision of what she wanted. Maison Kyka's turnkey experience seduced her: delighted to be able to entrust her project with confidence, without having to juggle constraints.

Light, space and comfort were his priorities. A large exterior to breathe, welcoming living rooms where her children could grow up and where she could entertain without ever feeling cramped.

Jean-Baptiste, his real estate project manager, saw in this apartment all the potential to create a functional, elegant place, and designed for a new life. It is in particular the magnificent roof terrace with its view of Paris on one side and Mont Valérian on the other that marked his spirit. For this client who dreamed of the outdoors, two balconies complete the property.

An apartment open to the Paris sky

Here, each line of the plan has been redesigned for a single ambition: to embrace the view of the Eiffel Tower. The living room - dining room, with its open kitchen, is now oriented towards this exceptional panorama. Designed for family life, the apartment also accommodates two bedrooms and a family bathroom. Shower, bath, all designed for absolute comfort.

Finally, access to the roof terrace has been created, allowing additional space to be created at the same time, halfway between a summer kitchen and an office.

A family cocoon with warm accents

The soul of the apartment is expressed in a subtle dialogue between architecture and material. The style, faithful to the aesthetics of the building from the 70s, is imbued with deep and earthy tones: ochre, terracotta, bottle green. To illuminate these vibrant hues, decorative elements and furniture are inspired by the southern sun: touches of lemon, bursts of turquoise, woven raffia, a game of contrasts that infuses warmth and character.

And to perfect this living environment, the terrace was planted with our landscape partner Sauvaje, offering Margaux the air bubble she was looking for so much.

The iconic detail

Sometimes an unexpected detail becomes a strength. An old garbage dump, impossible to remove, has been sublimated: dressed in ceramic, it stands out as the centrepiece of the living room. Around him, an office area and a custom library compose the space.
